How to calculate the ideal size of the ganache frame

How to Calculate the Right Size?

How to calculate the ideal size of the ganache frame

You can determine the correct frame size using one of these two methods:

🔹 Measure the distance between the widest strings on your guitar.
🔹 Multiply the size of one candy by the number you want per row inside the frame.

🚨 Important: Do not rely on the base of your guitar!

Key Considerations

To ensure consistent candy sizes, it’s best to add a small margin to your calculated dimensions:

Outer strings should slightly "bite" into the ganache to ensure uniform cutting.
Crystallization and ganache removal should not affect the size of the last row.
Easy centering on the guitar – if the frame is too tight, the last row may be uneven.

💡 Recommended Adjustment:
We suggest adding 5 mm of extra space to the inner frame dimensions.
For example, for a 36 cm guitar, the inside dimension of the frame should be 36.5 cm.
