How to make heart-shaped rocks (beginner level)
Homemade Chocolate Rocks Recipe 🍫💛
Make chocolate rocks at home
Equipment:
- Oven (to preheat the plate at 50°C)
- 2 ISO baking trays (e.g., a 230x10 mm heart-shaped tray)
- A bowl
- A mixing bowl
- A spatula (maryse)
- A scraper (to fill the molds evenly)
Ingredients:
- 80g of chocolate (non-pastry)
- 125g of crêpes dentelle (crispy wafer biscuits)
Instructions:
Preheat the plate
Place the perforated plate in the oven at 45-50°C to warm it up.
Prepare the ingredients
- Crumble the crêpes dentelle into small pieces.
- Chop the chocolate into small chunks and melt it (use a bain-marie or microwave in short bursts).
Mix
Combine the melted chocolate with the crêpes dentelle and stir until evenly coated.
Mold the rocks
- Pour the mixture onto the preheated plate and fill the molds using a scraper.
- Tap lightly with the scraper to vibrate and compact the mixture for a solid texture.
Remove the mold
Once the hearts (or chosen shape) are properly filled and set, carefully lift the mold off.
